I think our generation grew up with such great music that it's in our DNA and to enjoy all "real/live" talent will last a lifetime. It's not like we had a playstation, xbox, or 150+ channels to distract us. We were lucky to have 5 channels with vice grips on the tuner knob. Remember many of nights flipping albums while enjoying a good book.

Blind by Korn, Sun Doesn't Rise by Mushroomhead. I have so many it's hard to list just a couple.

One of the most hardcore songs ever. WARNING this is not for everyone but when we are out in the blue water hunting giants and finally hook up, this is the song that gets everyone going!

Well, I first saw them for the first time in Austin, TX, in a really seedy honky tonk around 1969-70. They were rough, raw and effing jammed! That's how I see them. Then, when they turned pro they decided to go mainstream for the bucks. That's where all the late 70's, 80's and 90's crap came out. I truly despise songs from them like "Sharp Dressed Man", "Tush", etc. Eliminator album, etc. I have some soundtracks from their really early work including live performances that are just amazing. In the last 10 years they've gone a lot more back to their Blues roots and some of those performances are awesome and from what I've heard still are. My playlist when I'm working in the shop includes the very early stuff but I do agree with you when the subject is those decades I mentioned. The video I posted is a cleaned up "for the masses" version of a song they played way back when live. I love the Tex-Mex biker bar stuff they produced at one time. If you have Sirius/XM radio listen to the Bluesville channel between 9:00 and 11:00 PM on Saturday nights and you'll hear some of their stuff that you probably won't think is them.
